I am against AI in music, art, writing, and basically everything else, but it has been genuinely useful in helping me code the solutions to problems I've had. I know this is the same argument that people who make AI event posters use and I hate those AI event posters, so I guess I need to figure out my positions. Flag Forge

I was teaching a unit about flag design and wanted a simple way for kids to create their own flag designs with a limited set of tools, before we moved on to free form design. It's really simple, but it kills five minutes.

Flagged

Combined with the previous project, I also wanted a random country picker that wasn't full of ads and bright colours. I wanted something relaxed and calm, but also educational. As well as picking a random country, there are some country facts, and a small quiz mode.

Skein

My favourite RGB to DMC converter fell off the internet years ago. Since then I've floated between a few different ones, but none were as good as the original. I made this in an attempt to make one that does everything I need from such a tool. As is mentioned on the page, I was limited by the thread charts I found online, so please do check physical threads where possible.

Stitch Studio

I wanted to make a stress free way to teach kids how to make cross-stitch patterns. It's just a pixel art thing with crosses and limited colour swatches. The ideas was to keep it calm and simple.

I wanted to run a class on gamification and compulsion, so I made this simple page to teach a group how to play Sevens, before giving them real dice in small groups.

I had a project where the kids had to make moodboards. I wanted something simple, no sign ups, no long term storage, no crazy options, just copy and paste.
